About Segways
This unique means of transport was born in 2001 and has since been distributed worldwide with great success. Technically, it is a vehicle equipped with two parallel wheels on a base from which a platform with handlebars rises. Balance is achieved by means of a gyroscope system, which makes it possible to travel safely at up to 20 km per hour, with long battery life.
The Segway has become an ideal medium for tourism, due to its ease of use, the speed of movement it offers and the fact that it allows access to restricted traffic areas.

What is the minimum age to ride a Segway? The recommended minimum age is 9 or 10 years, depending on the maturity or development of the child. Passengers under the age of 18 must be accompanied on the tour by a responsible adult over 18 years of age.
Is there a maximum age? No. We have had clients up to 90 years old. We ask that you be physically able to get on and off the Segway without assistance, and maintain balance. The physical effort is not very great, it is a matter of skill.
Is there a size or weight limit? Yes. There is a minimum weight limit of about 40 kg and an upper limit of 110 kg. These are the limits set by the manufacturer of the Segway. If your weight falls outside of these guidelines you may experience problems operating the Segway safely.
Can I take a Segway tour if I’m pregnant? Not recommended. Insurance does not usually cover these cases.
Can I rent a Segway and travel alone? No, unfortunately not. All our tours and activities in Seville are accompanied and supervised by experienced guides. This is for your safety and the safety of other road users.
Should I book in advance? Essential, especially on weekends and holidays. Booking in advance secures your place.
Does the Segway work in the rain? Yes in theory, although we will have to see the specific case and the conditions of the roads. We will do our best to notify you as far in advance as possible if we have to cancel a tour.
Can I take pictures? Yes, of course. In fact, we encourage you to bring your camera and immortalise this unique experience.
Can I record videos or photos while driving? No, we do not allow the use of cameras while driving, however, you can bring your GoPro camera. We want you to enjoy the experience and the views, and stay safe at all times, not concentrate on a little video screen.
Is a Segway safe? Yes, as long as you follow the monitors’ instructions and drive sensibly.
What if I can’t master the Segway? In our experience, that is highly unlikely. Some people take longer than others, but it is very rare for someone to be unable to do the tour after some basic training.
What clothes should I wear? Use common sense and adapt to the climate. We require a shirt, pants or shorts and closed shoes preferably, or some footwear that provides security and stability. Bring a jacket if you think you may be cold, and rain gear in wet weather. Tie long hair back to make your helmet fit and secure glasses, bags and other accessories.
Can I wear a hat? Yes, if it fits safely under the helmet.
Go luggage free… It is best to leave valuables at your accommodation before leaving, as they can be lost.
Health limitations. Pregnant women and anyone with health restrictions, intolerance or sensitivity to extreme heat and sun, or people who have had recent surgery are not recommended to participate in this activity. Riders must be able to stand for long periods of time. Riding is forbidden for anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Do we enter monuments? We do not enter monuments, the routes are exterior on wide and comfortable avenues. For example the area of the Catedral, the river, Plaza de EspaΓ±a, Maria Luisa Park etc.
